Displaying a message to the customer.

Hello,

I was wondering if their is a way to display a message to the front end user when they have entered the coupon. An example would be "Please enjoy the complementary free shipping and 20% off for attending Texas Library Association Annual Conference"

I've notice their is a section for admin notes but is there one to display to customers?
