Coupons and Gift Certificates Not Working with Paypal Pro

When I apply a Awo coupon or gift certificate to the cart it appears in the cart fine and works properly all the way through using Paypal Standard. But when using the Paypal Pro 3D Secure extension (http://extensions.virtuemart.net/payments/paypal-payments-pro-3d-secure-detail) the coupon and gift card discount is removed at the final step of the checkout process. The gift certificate is marked as 'used' even though it is not displayed on the order or invoice details.

If I used VM's coupon feature there is no issue checking out using the Paypal Pro 3D extension.

Did some extensive testing of this module and it works well with virtuemart permanent coupons, but not virtuemart gift (1 time use only). There is a big problem with the way it creates and finishes an order. I am not exactly sure why the flow is the way it is. In any case, here is the flow:

- add items to the cart, select payment, shipping, etc
- confirm your purchase
- right after confirmation, the coupon is checked, and if it is a 1 time use coupon, it is deleted (virtuemart system)
- the credit card processing page opens
- enter cc details and save
- sent back to the cart page with the error "Coupon code not found, please try again"

To test this, you can disable AwoCoupon, unpublish the plugin VmCoupon - AwoCoupon. Then in virtuemart create a coupon code where you set the coupon type to gift coupon. Then try it in the front end.

Really this thing just needs to be reworked to work as a normal credit card if possible.

Thank you for your research Seyi. I did the 1 time use coupon and see what you are talking about. There seems to be many issues with the Paypal Pro plugin as well as not working properly with One Page Checkout products. I am looking into re-coding the Paypal Pro plugin. Again, thank you.
