Buy X Get Y returns calculation error

    Hi,

    My installation: Joomla 3.9.11 / VM 3.4.2 / AwoCoupon 3.5.7.2/ PHP 7.3.3

    Issue: I have followed the tutorials https://awodev.com/blog/buy-x-get-y-joomla-guide to create the scenario "Buy One Get One Free" but during testing all I get at the front end is a message that something went wrong with the calculation.

    Any ideas?

    Hello,

    Is that a php error?  If so can you look at the php logs to see what the error is?

    Also, for testing AwoCoupon, you can go to admin > awocoupon > awocoupon > configuration > error messages tab, click debug and save.  And you should be able to see in the front end why a coupon fails when you enter it.

    Hi, no it’s not a php error, it’s a Joomla message stating that there was a calculation error.

    That message makes no sense to me.  There is no such error message in AwoCoupon, so it is coming from something else, unless you setup one of the custom error messages to say that.
