    Hello

I can't set value 'Minimum value' to 'speciffic'. After saving copon this option is always 'Overall'. What do I wrong?

    Radek

The only way to set "Minimum value" to 'specific" is doing it in MySql.

    Then it works.

After editing it comes back to 'Overall'

    ------------

I wanted to buy from specific producer X for over 100 Euro then I could get product Y

Now it works when I have any value from producer X but overall is over 100 Euro (including other producers).

For the minimum value to be 'specific', you have to select product/category/manufacturer...etc under the products section of the coupon.  If you do not, then it will be reset to overall, this is for a normal coupon.

For a buy x get y, it will always read overall, and the minimum value checks the overall cart.

So if I understand what you want, you cannot use a buy x get y because of the min value check, but you could use a combination coupon instead:
    - coupon a: 0 value, mininum value 100 specific, select product x
    - coupon b: discount amount, specific to product y
    - coupon c: combine coupons a and b and set process type to only if all apply

    Then use coupon c.

    Hello Seyi

I have attached print screen of coupon details. I have option able to set 'specific' or 'overall' but after saving its reset to 'overall' every time.

    1) As 'overall' it doesn't fill my expectation.

    2) I can change option to 'specific' by editing coupon in MySql

    3) it works perfectly with 'specific' option

    4) I don't want to use it as combination coupon because it is going to be a part of other combination coupon. It might be too complex.

My question is if there is any way to save coupon with 'specific' option and not to edit coupon in MySql.

No, not with buy x get y.

How does it work perfectly if it is set to specific?  I have tested this scenario, and it takes the overall cart total into account when determining the minimum value.

Yes, it works. I can convince you only by screen shots:

    1) 'minimum value' is set to 'overall'. Coupon works because total value is more than 'minimum value'

    2) Coupon is changed in MySql:

    3) 'minimum value' is set to 'specific'. Coupon stopped working, because value for 'product X' is less than 'minimum value'

    4) 'minimum value' is set to 'specific'. Coupon is working, because value for 'product X' is more than 'minimum value'
