AwoCoupon Vendor Email

    Hello, Seyi.
    Please be so kind and give us a helping hand with setting the vendor email.
    We are using this to set the vendor email:

    In the email received by the vendor the vouchers are displayed twice, in this form:
    Q86W5h9.jpg

    On one line the code and the price, and on a second row the code, the price and the description.
    Can you please advise how to remove the first short line and keep just the second line (code - price - description)?

    This is the Wordpress version we are using, version 3.5.6.1

    I cannot find any later versions of AWO Coupon (for Wordpress) on your site.

    I have just noticed under our subscriptions, that our Wordpress licence is linked to ldc.c-meonline.eu (which was the development site) - this should be leinsterdrivingcampus.ie


    I'm unsure how to re-assign the licence for Wordpress to leinsterdrivingcampus.ie

    The WordPress version has now been updated, 3.5.6.2.

    In your account here:

    You can delete your current url and re-add it on your production site within AwoCoupon.

    I have now downloaded the WP 3.5.6.2 plugin.

    How do I upgrade the plugin from within Wordpress, without losing any of our settings etc., as the site is live, with active customers etc.?

    If you update your subscription, you can update it directly from within AwoCoupon.
    Otherwise you would have to upload the files in to the wp-content/plugins/awocoupon directory, overwriting duplicates, then reload AwoCoupon dashboard to make any db updates.

    Hello, Seyi

    We have updated the plugin directly from within AwoCoupon, as recomended.

    1. Using the new plugin version the admin only receives 1 (one) email, the one sent by Woocommerce, the order confirmation. The admin/ vendor does not receive anymore the detailed email from AwoCoupon, containing the coupon image and coupon number.

    2. On all new orders we noticed the error presented in the image below:


    3. We have configured AwoCoupon so that the detailed email message is also sent to the customer. This email contains the coupon image, but it does not contain the coupon codes, as presented in the image below (we have used both {voucher} and {vouchers} codes but none of them worked):

    Hello,

    So this is the email sent to the customer after purchase of a gift certificate right?

    In awocoupon > tools > email templates, what is the email body of that email template?

    Yes, that is correct - it is the email received by the client/ purchaser.

    The following image presents the email body of the email template defined in awocoupon > tools > email templates



    Ref image above:
    1. I checked both boxes so that the email message should reach both the admin/ vendor and the client/ purchaser.
    After testing only the client receives the email.
    2. I used both {voucher} and {vouchers} codes, but none of the codes brings the coupon codes into the email.
    Please, advise on this. Thanks.

    {voucher} tag will not work there, as it is within the field {vouchers}, which you can configure right under the email body.  What I do not understand is why the {vouchers} tag is not being rendered to at least blank.  Can you look at the code of the email body?  Make sure there is not some character within {vouchers} that is not seen when the html is rendered?

    Also in the folder www/wp-contents/plugins/awocoupon, do you have the folder "tmp"?  If not can you create it?

    1. Please, find below a printscreen of the email body. The code is clean, there is no other character between the accolades/ curly brakets, except the word 'vouchers'


    2. Yes, the 'tmp' folder exists

    Not really sure what is going on.

    What is in the {vouchers} field in the email template edit screen?  Also seems the tmp directory is not readable for some reason.

    Think it might need to be debugged directly to find the cause of the issue.

    Thanks for the access.  First thing I noticed, in the email template edit screen you had these values for these fields:

    {vouchers}: {vouchers}
    {expiration_text}: {expiration_text}

    I altered them to:
    {vouchers}: Gift Certificate: {voucher}<br />Value: {price}{expiration_text}<br /><br />
    {expiration_text}: <br />Expiration: {expiration}

    The {vouchers} tag now correctly works.

    In awocoupon > config > gift certificate products, I changed the order status to automatially send gift certificates from 'pending payment' and 'processing' to 'completed' as this should only be sent after payment is complete.

    I tested the 'bcc', by programatically changing it to my email address.  For me it is sending fine.

    Vendor email not being received, this should be fixed.

    The error you were receiving in order notes should also not show any more.

    I should be very grateful if you would offer us support to quickly fix the following issue:
    We have renewed our subscription 4 days ago and updated the Awocoupon plugin after that.
    For two of our most recent orders the corresponding emails were not sent to the admin and to the client.
    I checked and noticed that the Email Template was empty - no voucher image was present in the template.
    I updated the voucher image and restored the coupon template and while testing the emails were sent.
    My main issue is how to fix the two orders for which the emails were not sent?
    The vouchers were generated - I can find them in the Report: Purchased Gift Certificate List, but how can I send/ resend them to the client and to the admin?
    Please note that for all new orders (placed after the plugin update) I get this error - Error during status transition. Could not access file: /var/www/[hidden]/[hidden]/webspace/httpdocs/ [domain] /wp-content/plugins/awocoupon/tmp/1595327523224490365.jpg
    The tmp folder is there, but the issue persists...

    Hello,

    To resend vouchers, you can go to awocoupon > history > orders, mouse over the order and click the resend link.

    Don't understand why you are receiving the temp folder error.  Are the gift certificate images still being generated?
