I am not sure how to do this. I have done something similar combining coupons (parent) and having Product X be discounted with free shipping associated with the entire order.

    Client wants to:

receive FREE shipping and 25% off of your entire order with your purchase of Product X. Just enter CODE at checkout.

    Thank you

    Hi John,

You need to be using AwoCoupon pro 1.4.2 or later. Then you can setup a shipping coupon and have the ability to select products that apply.

    Hi Seyi,

    I am on 1.4.4 pro.

I need to require a particular item be added to the cart in order for the coupon to apply with free shipping and a discount that applies to all items in the cart. If the customer doesn't have the required product n the cart then the coupon should not apply.

    Thanks,

    John

You would still create a parent coupon and use the process type of 'only if all apply'.

When creating the shipping coupon, you can select the product that is needed to be in the cart.

    Hi Seyi,

This is working but the only place it shows you the shipping discount is on the confirm step and it only shows it at the bottom under "shipping rate". In the "shipping and "Handling" fee it still shows the shipping charge which is also added to the total. Is there a way around this?

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi John,

If you want the shipping rate to reflect the discount, instead of the discount being reflected in the coupon discount, then you can go to awocoupon->installation check and uninstall the 2 'Show Shipping Discount in Coupon Display field'.

The shipping discount should show correctly immediately after the customer selects shipping. So if they end up on the confirm step after this, then yes, the customer would only see it on the confirm step.
