Joomla Language Overrides not working

I have some language overrides that appear to work, however there are several that don't work unless I manually modified the /administrator/language/en_GB/en-GB.com_aswcoupon.ini file directly.

I'm using the Joomla language overrides, as in this latest issue, for COM_AWOCOUPON_CFG_COUPERR_MIN_VAL

Using the admin interface, Joomla! creates the override correctly in ./language/overrides/en-GB.override.ini however for some reason it ignores the override and retrieves the product default.

If I modify the language file from AWOCOUPON directly, it will work, but subsequent updates will have these changes overwritten.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Just tested it, and it worked fine for me.

This is an admin variable, so when creating it, did you make sure you selected admin before creating the override?

I tried Site first, then when I found the physical language ini file in administrator/ I added another override for "both" which had worked for me in the past ... but I will delete those and try again, using Site only for the override.

I also modified the file itself...I am still in a development mode, so cache is disabled, but maybe something else is not updating correctly.
