automatic discount does not work

Hello we need to create automatic discounts on the product quantity for some items (8 products) The discount should work like this: - 20% discount with the purchase of 1 item - 25% discount with the purchase of 2 items - 30% discount with the purchase of 3 or more itemswe have created a Buy X Get Y coupon by selecting the 8 interested products. We have set the automatic discount but it doesn't work, nothing happens in the cart. It only works if I disable the automatic discount and manually set the Buy X Get Y discount code in the cart why?

Hello,

I dont think you can setup a quantity discount that does what you described using a buy x get y coupon. For quantity discount you have to use combination coupon;
Coupon A: 20% discount, min quantity to 1
Coupon B: 25% discount, min quantity to 2
Coupon C: 30% discount, min quantity to 3
Coupon D: combination coupon where you add Coupons C, B, and A in that order and set to 'first found match'.

Then use coupon D as the automatic coupon.
And did you set it up as automatic by adding it the the automatic discount list?

So if you enter the coupon code in the cart it works? Just not working automatically? What shopping cart and versions are you using? In awocoupon > configuration > installation check, do you have everything installed?

In this case it doesn't work manually either, it says:
No registration, not published or expired
but it's all posted and there's no start or end date.

The installation is complete.
How can I solve?

Are you getting this error?
No record, unpublished or expired

It is probably because you are using the combination coupon. Try the actual coupon code for the level it should work at to see what the error is.

Very confused. So is the combination coupon working or not? Or just the single coupon? If the combination coupon is not working that needs fixing.

Had a look, looks like you disabled automatic discounts in cart scenarios:

And the combination coupon is in your automatic discounts lists. So even if you try to use it manually it will not work. To have the combination coupon work, you need to do one of 2 things:
1. remove the combination coupon from the automatic discounts list
2. enable automatic coupons

Yes, so the automatic discount works but not as I would like. I would like it to work only for the 8 products that I have indicated instead today if you buy a product of the 8 indicated and a second one of the same brand applies the discount, it is not good. it must only be if one buys 1 or more products than those indicated in the coupon
